Welcome to Room #28

Dear families,

Welcome to a new school year.  I am excited to be in third grade this year.  I look forward to getting to know you and your children.  

I have also taught first grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. .  I love them all, but believe that third grade is a special year for students.  They will be preparing to make the transition from primary to upper grade.  It is also a great year for reading as student begin to read longer books and become more independent readers.  

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year.
