First Grade Homework

Homework Folder                        
  • Will be provided by the teacher
  • Please, check your child's folder EVERYDAY.
  • Homework is assigned Friday and due the following Friday
  • Please read with your child each night or listen to your child read aloud so they can practice reading skills they are learning in the classroom. Don't forget to complete the reading log daily
  • Student progress and behavior shared weekly, please sign.
  • Please have the homework cover and reading logs in their backpacks daily.
  • Occasional at home themed projects may be sent home.
 
Finishing and returning homework helps your child develop responsibility and good work habits. Our job as teachers and your job as parents is to teach our children these habits early.
