Vejar Message from the Principal

I am so excited about being a part of Vejar’s learning community as the interim principal. It is wonderful to see so much enthusiasm and excitement on the part of students, teachers, staff, and parents.

Vejar Elementary School’s success is built upon the relationship that exists between the classroom, the home, and the community. We encourage parents to become involved in their child’s education by volunteering in the classrooms, joining campus activities, and being a member of the Vejar Community Club. We encourage and welcome school visitations

In 2009-10 school year, we will continue to build upon the success of previous years. Our experienced staff of teachers provides a quality education in a strong academic environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity. We are also a school that C.A.R.E. S. We actively strive for our students to strengthen their core values of Conscience, Acceptance, Respect, Empathy, and Self-Control. These are discussed in classrooms and in school-wide activities. We believe that these experiences will add to the solid education of our Vejar students and the greater community.
