Welcome to 2nd grade. I am so very excited to be teaching, learning, and growing with you this year.  I have been teaching for over 20 years, and at Vejar since 2015. I have taught 1st, 1st/2nd combo and 4th grades.

I was born in raised in Poway, California (San Diego area). I went to University of California, Riverside for my undergrad degree, teaching credential, and Reading Certificate. I completed my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction at Chapman University, San Diego.  I am married to the fabulous Mr. Winter (Ben) and have 2 sons, Noah and Zachary. As a family we love to visit Big Bear and Bullhead to rest relax and spend quaility time together.
