Ms. Lily Tiao

Hello!

My name is Miss Tiao (pronounced tee-ow) and I’m currently a 2nd year kindergarten teacher at Vejar Elementary. I graduated from UC Irvine with a Masters of Arts in Teaching and received my Advanced Early Childhood certification from UCLA. I have worked in diverse educational settings including caring for infants and little ones in preschools and teaching English to various students in Japan.

As an enthusiastic elementary educator, I strive to provide creative lessons and engage classroom instruction to promote the goals of literacy, problem solving and collaboration. I hope to cultivate meaningful experiences both within and beyond the classroom to encourage life-long learning in all my students.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy figure skating, designing new teaching resources and exploring different local coffee shops. I look forward to building new experiences with your child!
